Homeowner Support and Guidance

HOPE NOW is an alliance between counselors, mortgage companies, investors, and other mortgage market participants. This alliance will maximize outreach efforts to homeowners in distress to help them stay in their homes and will create a unified, coordinated plan to reach and help as many homeowners as possible.

National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC) is the national voice for over 100 member agencies and more than 900 local offices throughout the country that provide a variety of services, including:

- Housing counseling
- Budget counseling and education
- Debt management plans
- Counseling referral services
- Financial literacy courses

Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HUD has launched a new campaign to urge homeowners to seek free, HUD-approved housing counseling advice before they are at risk of foreclosure.
